Netsweeper uses an agent on each computer to let it know who is logged in so it can decide which filtering level to give to it. This agent is supposed to re-inform Netsweeper every so often so that the correct filtering level is kept the whole time you are logged in. Unfortunatley this doesn't always work and you can find that although you are logged in as a staff member you get pupil filtering.
At our schools we have placed a shortcut on the desktop to Restart Netsweeper if you run this the agent will be restarted and will re-inform netsweeper giving you the correct level of filtering again.
